The Terpinator

Have you ever smelt a flower and it hardly had any aroma, or have you ever bought an orange that actually did not smell at all let alone like a orange?

Smells and aromas do help us in determining many things, whether something is fresh maybe burnt even, smells also help our taste buds immensely and throughout recent times I keep finding more and more fruits, vegetables and even flowers seem to be losing their natural fragrances. These odours are made via oils and some types of plant oils have terpenoids, or compounds that contain very interesting odour molecules. Terpenoids are molecular compounds that consist of repeating units of a 5-carbon structure called isoprene. The unique composition of Terpinator provides the basic building blocks that plants require to produce flavourful oils.

So Terpinator is not a flavour enhancer and neither is it a fake/false flavour additive. No, what Terpinator does, is by using naturally occurring plant and biological compounds, the unique enzymatic pathways within a plant’s body are utilised to enhance the production of terpenoids.

Terpinator is formulated to increase the concentration of terpenoids in aromatic plant oils and glands. These glands are brought to their maximum potential and size. You can use Terpinator with any Hydroponic or soil feeding nutrient program for indoor gardening or outdoor. Terpinator also catalyses steps in a plants normal metabolism that will protect and prolong fragrances of your plant’s dried fruits and flowers. This also will increase your dry weight outcome too.

Basically, more terpenes means more essential oils... which mean more flavour and aroma!

Many plants incorporate aromatic compounds that produce a plethora of odours that have been long thought to affect our physiology through odour activation (aromatherapy).

Two of these odour molecules are limonene and myrcene. These occur in a wide variety of oil producing plants, and can be described to smell like lemons and grapefruit. Many researchers have been aware of the power of odour chemistry to affect our moods, for example, many people describe a feeling of “sunny happiness” when smelling limonene. These types of compounds end up in the glands that inhabit the “skin” of plants, and can create biological affects in our bodies when ingested. For example, the plant oils in mint can cause a feeling of relaxation when taken as a cup of tea, but in fact sometimes even a normal cuppa would suffice and smell great to me.

Last but certainly not least, terpinoids actually have a history as antimicrobial, which are capable of destroying or stopping the growth of disease causing microbes and also helps prevent diseases. Remember The Terpinator can be used in both organic and synthetic feeding schedules.
